Welcome to City Gate Coworking!
To ensure a productive and professional environment for everyone, we ask that all members and guests abide by the following guidelines.
Access & Security
Access Codes: Your entry code is unique to you. For the safety of the community, please do not share your code or "tailgate" (letting unverified people in behind you).
Hours of Operation:
Permanent Tenants: 24/7 access.
Subscription Members: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Please ensure you have packed up and exited by 7:00 PM to allow for evening maintenance.
Lock Up: If you are the last person leaving a room or the building, please ensure the door is securely closed.
Workspace Etiquette
The "Village” Workspace: This is our social hub! Quiet conversation is welcome, but please be mindful of those around you.
The “Cozy House” Workspace: These are designated for focused work. Please keep noise to a minimum in this area.
Phone Calls & Online Meetings: For calls or meetings longer than 5 minutes, please use our soundproof booths in the “Meadows” Hallway.
Community Atmosphere: To maintain a productive environment, we ask all members to avoid loud or disruptive behavior. City Gate reserves the right to terminate or deny membership to anyone who consistently disregards the comfort and noise-level needs of their fellow members.
Reserved Stations: While the Village and most of the Cozy House are "first-come, first-served," desks marked as "Reserved" are dedicated to specific members. Please respect these workstations and the equipment on them. If you’d like to claim your own permanent spot, ask us about our Dedicated Desk agreement!
Clean Desk Policy: Unless you have a permanent lease, please clear your workstation of all personal items and trash at the end of your session.
Meeting Rooms & Booths
Booking: The “Summit” Conference Room, “Cove” Meeting Room, and “Nook” office may be reserved by monthly members via [Link to booking].
Punctuality: Please wrap up your meetings 5 minutes early to allow the next group to start on time.
Capacity: Do not exceed the posted seating capacity for the safety and comfort of all members.
The Harbor Kitchenette & Amenities
Refuel: Help yourself to the coffee, tea, soda, and snacks in The Harbor! We ask that you be "community-minded"—take what you need, but leave enough for others. While these amenities are complimentary, we do have a "Community Jar" for those who wish to contribute toward keeping the snack bar stocked.
Fridge Etiquette: All items must be labeled with your name and date. The Harbor fridge is cleared out every Saturday at 7:00 PM.
Cleanliness: If you spill it, wipe it. If you use a dish, wash it. We’re all adults here!
Printing & Tech
Internet: Use the "City Gate Member" network for high-speed access. Please refrain from high-bandwidth activities (like massive torrenting) that might slow down the connection for others.
Printing: Each member is provided a personal print code for tracking. Printing is billed at a low per-page rate at the end of each month. To keep your account secure, please do not share your code with others.
The "Big No-Nos"
No Smoking/Vaping: This is a 100% smoke-free facility.
No Alcohol on premises
Respectful Conduct: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination or disrespectful behavior of any kind.
Guests: Subscription members may host guests for meetings in reserved rooms only. Guests are not permitted to work in communal areas without a day pass.
Parking
Please park in the City Gate lot first. If the lot is full, please use the designated overflow parking at North Point Church across the street.
Resident Parking: Three spaces are strictly reserved for our Permanent Office Tenants 24/7. Even if these spaces appear empty, they are not available for communal use.
